Hi everyone,
I'm struggling with importing an animation of a rigid body from Motive into Unreal Engine 5.4. I've successfully exported and imported character animations thanks to the -fbx binary with Unreal Engine compatibility, which makes it a smooth process. However, every attempt to bring in animations for a tracked rigid body, like a prop, has failed.
I'm aware there's a workaround involving live streaming into Unreal and recording both the person and the prop simultaneously. However, my project requires an export-import workflow, ideally from Motive to Unreal, to retain the animations correctly.
Does anyone have recommendations on specific export or import settings in Motive or Unreal that might help resolve this? Or are there any other tips or best practices that would make this process easier?
Thanks for any advice you can offer!
How to Import Rigid Body Animations into Unreal 5.4 from Motive?

Thank you very much for your reply.
I simply cant seem to select any bone since the fbx only has a locator, any ideas?

What specific export and import settings should I use in Motive and Unreal Engine 5.4 to successfully import animations for tracked rigid bodies, and are there any best practices or tips that could help streamline this process?
