Re: TrackIR5 Camera not turning on / recognized
Same here had my Track-ir since September 2018 and not had an issue with it until today I was only using it in FS19 a few hours eariler now for some reason windows will not detect the camera at all, nothing in device manager and software will not detect anything, i don't get it because it was working fine eailer but have sent a ticket to support not that it will help if it is that camera at fault.

I have the same problem. Could it be related with the last W10 update?.
The last time that I used it with XP11 was on Octobrer 17ht with not issue.
Yesterday I launched the sim but the camera did not work.
It is detected by the program and the IR lights are on, but got no movement, I use the TrackClip.
Also opened a support tkt yesterday.

This is my second Track IR camera that has died. The lights on the camera no longer come on no mater what computer its plugged into. This is becoming so disappointing.

I also had an issue with the camera, I uninstalled the TrackIR app, then deleted EVERY mention of "NaturalPoint" in the registry. There's a LOT of entries that are not removed from the registry, so get an app to help you find and remove them. I ended up using ChatGPT to write me a power shell script to help me do this.
I then reinstalled the TrackIR software, and the camera came back to life, however, it still wasn't seeing the Tracing Target (headset), mine's LED based.
I used my cellphone camera to see if the LED's were working, they were not. I then checked the wiring on my Tracking Target, I found a wire had become disconnected. I soldered the wire back on the LED that it came off of and everything was back to it's normal working state.
HTH the next person that has issues.
NOTE - MOST cellphone camera's will see IR sources, to test if yours's see's IR LEDs, turn on your camera and grab any remote and look into the camera while using the remote pointed at the camera, if you see a fait light, then your cellphone sees IR light. Remember this when you want to test anything IR related things.
