Midnight when you fly the LOMAC and play the default A10 start mission, sitting in the cockpit hit CTRL Backspace and tell me what FPS you are getting.
Also do you have the Hyperthreading switched on in the bios for the P4 ??.
BTW nice system specs

Ok first off turn off Vysnc.
Now I read something in one of these forums about HT and Track IR, it may have been a promblem in a earlier build of the softwear so it may be nothing, wayne maybe able to ask Jim or Birch about it and if it can/could cause a promblem.
The A10 mission that i told you to play im getting 32-40 FPS at the start, so i think your FPS maybe low and that is beacuse of Vysnc, turn it off and let me know what FPS you have again, also set it up like this
Settings are as follows:
Textures High
Scene Med
Terr PRLD 100 kms
Civ traff No
Water Low
Haze Advanced
Lights Weapons
Visib RNG Medium
Effects High
Heat Blur Off
Shadows All Planar
Colour 32 Bit
Resolution 1280x1024

Thanks...I recieved the profile and tried it straight away.
I think I am expecting to much from Track IR2. It just isnt smooth enough for me. I cannot focus on objests long enough before a slight movement has me looking in an other direction. I find myself often turning the device off. I am also getting neck strain from trying to neutralise sudden movements.I have had a couple of friends try the device and all agree its very off putting. We all find it a little difficult to move the head slowly enough to have the camera view track properly.
Do you think V3.0 that is supposed to becoming out in May will be any better. And by the way where is alll the information about this new version other ppl are talking about.
I must say though that I am very impressed by you and Wayne for so readily volunteering your help. It is very kind of you guys.
Cheers

Midnight dont give up mate, if you have Track Ir working in IL2 FB then it should be working ok in LOMAC.
Track IR takes some getting used to as its not normal to look around a computer screen while playing games, however in real life its normal while flying a plane to scan the sky, if you treat you Track IR like that you will come to grips with it.
It just takes time thats all.
