I have same problem. My computer freezes and its hard to get to reboot it.
It happens 1-2 times a day.
I only play AH2.
It happend with vector, and without vector.
I also have XP Home edition btw.
The freezes happend the day I got my TIR3 Pro.
I cant take all the freezing!
Re: I cant take all the freezing!
Hey. Just to let you guys know, formatting fixed the problem entirely.
Re: I cant take all the freezing!
Travis, great I am glad that it is working.
Dipper, Can I ask you a few questions and possibly answer a few at the same time.
Dipper do you have a HOTAS system like a x-45 or Cougar? If you do are you running it and or the TIR through a Hub (powered or unpowered).
If the answer is yes then please if you can run both the TIR and the HOTAS though a individual PC based USB or at least on seperate Hubs with low data/power devices like a mouse (you do not use a mouse in-flight so to speak).
One other thing, some motherboards have a connection so that front mounted USB ports can be used. These 'risers' can be biggy backed off the rear USB's giving the user the thought that they are on differnet ports, when they might not be.
The reason that I say this is that a HOTAS and TIR are both high data periferals, in that they are both sending a lot of data when in use and this can easilly overlad the data capacity of USB 1, 1.1, and 2, hence running them off different USB ports. I had this happen to me when I first got my TIR and inadvertantly tried to run it off the same port as my Cougar.

Re: I cant take all the freezing!
(oh and i'm gonna celebrate my fixing my problem by buying a vector expansion )
Re: I cant take all the freezing!
What a great way to celebrate Travis.
Even if you favorite game does not support 6DOF you will really notice a difference with the Vector.
It's (TIR) tracking precision is greatly improved.

Re: I cant take all the freezing!
Yea, thats another reason I got it... Also I know there will be games in the future that support it.
