I am having the same problem. After latest update to TrackIR5, DCS no longer sees the TrackIR device. Games list has been updated.

If you run the TIR 5.5.1 installer, and select the repair, this should fix the problem. I think this is a general fix and not specifically for DCS but if you repair and still have issues, please let me know!

After getting the bug and repairing it yesterday, TIR5.5.1 was working until today. Few hours ago I was playing Il-2 Great Battles and everything was fine. After turning off the computer for couple hours, no game is recognizing it anymore. Uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled three times with repair/without repair, using Revo Uninstaller and not using it - you name it - NOTHING else works.
Trying to roll back to 5.5 or 5.4 now.
Stay away from 5.5.1!

Mine works fine in DCS but the Track IR UI disappears after exiting the game. I have to kill it in Task Manager.

Same issue in MSFS 2020.

Uninstalled and reinstalled 5.5.1 worked for me, Thanks.

I'm having a similar problem. The TrackClip Pro was replaced because the original stopped working. Bought a new one from Amazon and it is recognized by the TrackIR camera, and the latest software (5.5.2) allows me to configure the setup. But neither Elite Dangerous nor MSFS 2020 will recognize the TrackClip. In MSFS 2020 under Controls Option, there is no TrackIR listed as a peripheral. Yes, I started TrackIR before starting MSFS.

I've had the original for over a year, and it worked perfectly until the TrackClip Pro stopped.

We recently released version 5.5.2. This should have fixed some issues with how the 5.5.0 or 5.5.1 installers failed to update certain files. However, if just installing 5.5.2 still does not solve the issue then please try the following steps:

1) Save a copy of this TrackIR 5 folder to some other folder in file explorer: "C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\NaturalPoint\TrackIR 5"

2) Now, delete the TrackIR 5 folder inside of AppData.

3) Then, if you haven't installed 5.5.2 yet go ahead and install 5.5.2. If 5.5.2 is already installed then re-install or run a repair install for TrackIR 5.5.2. This will rebuild the AppData folder and rebuild any necessary files for running TIR successfully with games.

***Note, the repair install is an option when you run the installer for an already installed version of TrackIR. Fore example, if you run the installer for 5.5.2 while 5.5.2 is already installed, then you will be given the option to 'repair' or 'uninstall' TrackIR 5.5.2

4) Launch TIR and initiate the "Games List Update" which will prompt you to relaunch TIR.

Please let us know if this solves the issue with running TIR.

Note, 'Step 1)' is intended to back up any custom settings you may have applied which are part of these files:
"C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\NaturalPoint\TrackIR 5\Profiles"
"C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\NaturalPoint\TrackIR 5\ProfileMap.dat"
"C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\NaturalPoint\TrackIR 5\Settings.xml"

If there are any custom settings you want to retain like profiles, camera settings, or profile-to-title settings then you will want to replace the default files with your custom files in those paths in AppData. Please let us know if you have additional questions or concerns about any of this.

I tried everything recommended above and still Elite Dangerous, (Odyssey), would not recognize Track IR.

To get it working again in Elite Dangerous, Odyssey,
I ended up doing a full uninstall of TrackIR_5.5.2, cleaned up temp file caches and the registry.
Then did a clean install of TrackIR_5.4.2. After installation, I copied the saved profiles, Settings.xml, and ProfileMap.dat.
