Experienced same error. As noted, uninstalling TrackIR then the two versions of the MVCR 2015-2022 that I had installed on my Win10 machine cleared the way for the installer to work.
Not the most helpful or well written installer if it can't allow for a MVCR version check and/or more graceful failure error message though. Hope it's fixed soon.
