Re: Disable TrackIR while using the mouse in FS9

It is unlikely we'll add a feature that disables our device when you use another device. Especially since many people like moving the mouse and their view at the same time.
We'd have to put in a delay before trackir reactivated, or you'd get view stuttering every millisecond that the mouse wasn't registering movement. And with a delay you'd have the new annoyance of waiting for your TrackIR control to resume after you've stopped moving the mouse (not to mention anytime you accidentally bump the mouse).
Have you tried using the Pause Hot Key, Big Mike? (if not on your mouse, then on your joystick?). The idea of Pausing is that you can set it to whatever key or button you want so you can control when trackir is or isn't working.
I feel the ideal solution for this issue would be larger hotspots in FS2004, so you could have a wee bit more leeway. personally, i just zoom in as much as i can so i've a little more space to click.
I will bring this to our programmers attention again though.
