Gudgey that is GREAT news I know first-hand how bad it hurts to be without TIR, glad you got it sorted out!
If you want the No-CD for FS9, what Markoz said is true. Go to Microsux and download and run the 9.1 update, then BACK UP the new fs9.exe (just to be safe) and get the 9.1 No-CD crack and put it in the fs9 install folder. Worked like a champ for me, absolutely NO probs getting TIR to work with it I never tried the 9.0 No-CD so I can't say about that...
I won't tell you where you can d/l it, that may be against rules. But I'll give a hint
Google the following terms:
"World", "Game", "Copy"
Type them in any order in the search box, you should find what you want!

Also. I noticed in another post that someone actually told Rick (Naturalpoint Tech Support/Manager) that he was wrong about the NoCD hack for FS9 and TrackIR4Pro.
I private messaged Rick on 6 March regarding the reasons for stating that the NoCD hack doesn't work. But I'm sorry to say, he hasn't even read it yet, let alone replied to it.
But. If you ARE having problems with the TrackIR4 Pro not working with FS9 then try it with the original fs9.exe to be certain.

Blimey this is awesome!!!
I've not had much time to play with this, only about half an hour with PMDG's 737NG. I can't wait to see the 747.
I have a question for anyone else who has the 737NG:
In the cockpit there's an approach plate, I forget for which airport, and at 1600x1200 resolution is so clear it would be useable in flight. I also have SimCharts 3.0 and wonder if it possible to display other charts on there?
Cheers,
Gudgey.

Hi again,
I've just come back to FS9 after a couple of weeks, and was looking forward to flying around some excellent Hong Kong scenery, with TrackIR.
Trouble is, it no longer works
I've re-installed the drivers but this didn't work, it' just as it was when I first installed it.
When I run FS9 I get no blue light. The unit still works as I tried it with lock-on, and as soon as the splash screen appears, instant blue light!
But I have noticed that the F9 and F12 keys no longer work, something is effecting the TrackIR software.
Any suggestions, other than the ususal No-cd crack etc.?
Gudgey.

Hi Warren,
Yes I've seen the thread, I went through all that when I first installed the unit. I couldn't get it working with FS9 and ended up having to re-format the PC to get it working.
As I said earlier the F9 and F12 keys no longer work with software when I'm viewing the heads. I wonder if it's any of the FS9 add-ons that is overwriting a file that's needed by the TrackIR software?
Oh, and my software version is 4.1.028

Just in case,
have you checked the tips and tricks page for FS9?
http://www.naturalpoint.com/trackir/03- ... -2004.html
if none of that applies (or if it is confusing), please let me know, and please let me know what your device's serial number software version is.
Thanks Gudgey!

The F9-F12 keys being re-assigned? Hmm, that's a good suggestion and makes sense given the nature of the problem. I'll check it later and let you know, thanks for the help.

f9 and f12 don't work when just using the TrackIR software (even outside of games?). if so, please confirm that the hotkeys haven't been reassigned to other functions (when you open a profile, there is a hotkeys tab where this can be checked).
if this problem only happens in game, it sounds like a conflict. You may want to go in and change the hotkeys to something else (like buttons on your joystick).
The only file i'm aware of that TrackIR needs to work properly in FS9 is the language.dll (the Tips&Tricks "Non-English language versions of MSFS2004" kind of sneakily talks about this at the link above.).
if none of these suggestions address the problem, please let me know. Perhaps there is a new add-on I should research! (for both TrackIR compatibility and... maybe a bit of fun).
