I tried it. It worked fairly well for a day then got steadily worse to the point were it was not usable.
1 or 2 similar reports have been made over at SimHq.
With the latest driver, I uninstalled all the 2.11 files, including cleaning out the registry and removing any remaining folder in C:/Program Files. After installing and having the new TiR drivers fail, I repeated the process with the same results.
I cleaned everything out once more and reinstalled 2.11. After a couple of days all is well and as it was before.
As I mentioned in the beginning of this post, we TiR 1 users need the 2.12 beta finished. It performed noticably better than 2.11, except for the intermittent drops in FPS.
Resolve this and TiR 1 users should be satisfied.
IMHO

Hello:
We haven't forgotten about our TrackIR 1 users, 3.10 is supposed to work for everyone, all in a single release. We have TIR1 units at the office and we test them with all new software releases. I am not exactly sure how a software release can get progressively worse as you use it, but I am not a programmer either. Anyone having this problem should contact our tech support guys for personal assistance.

TripleA I had a TIR 1 unit untill I got my TIR 2 unit, I passed this unit on to a friend , he has been using the TIR 1 now all week with the latest drivers and doesnt have a promblem with them at all, in fact he thinks they are much better than the 2.11 drivers and a lot smoother in use.
I asked him last night before posting here if he had any promblems with installing the new 3.10 drivers and he sa no, so maybe the issue lies somewhere else in you machine ??
