Actually, it reinstalls when you restart the software.

\Input\TrackIR.ini - located in the LOMAC folder

I installed the .030 Beta and had the same results. I did discover a workaround. People have been saying that the trackir.ini should be deleted from the Input folder of Lockon. What I find is that if I do, the file is never recreated by Lockon.

What I do to get head movement in Lockon is to open trackir, center the view, then close (not minimize) the trackir GUI. I have noticed under the Windows Task Manager Processes tab that Trackir.exe is still running. Trackir will then work with Lockon. If you make options changes in Lockon, trackir will stop running. To get it back, you exit Lockon, end the trackir.exe process (with Task Manager), restart trackir, close the GUI, then go back into Lockon. It's a pain, but it works.

Unfortunately, I still cannot open the profile editor without locking up the trackir program.

There is definitely something wrong on the system....

1 - The ini file should be recreated everytim the application starts, if it isn't detected.

2 - The software should be totally disabled when closed, unless the option to run minimized, and close to tray are selected. Then it will run as a TSR.

3 - I have never come across an issue, where you couldn't get into edit a profile...
