When I hit F8 during startup I get a box asking what drive I want to boot from.

There should be an option about drivers, at the bottom of the bootup options.

Sorry to be a pain, but F8 doesn't have any effect (Vista Business 64), so the work around is toast for me.

Any vague guidance on release date for Vista drivers?

Can't play IL2 without TrackIR!

It is being worked on, but we do not have a release date yet.

Thx, Vincent.

Appreciate that proper development is paramount.

Just to manage my expectations, however, are we looking at days, weeks, or months in your opinion?

Just to know if I should put IL2 back on the shelf for a while...

rcharls I do not think it is that so much. More likly the $$ M$ charges for digital signing that makes the difference, especially to smaller companies. Personally I would rather someone like NP spend the money on good people than add to M$'s coffers.
With all due respect to the poster, it has nothing to do with MS being money grubbers. It has to do with stability and security. If your drivers are digitally signed then they have passed WHQL or logo certification, and you can validate the origin and vendor. People love to knock the perceived "instability" and "insecurity" of Windows, but then cry about the things done to eliminate them. You can't have it both ways.

Here is some information if you care to read:

Actually you can get drivers signed, without having them pass WHQL certification.
