What frame rate are you getting?
Which video card drivers are you using?

Hi Vincent,
I was using the 91.47 but have just now installed 93.71 but no change to problem.
I get good fps.I am testing using the default cessna on the rwy at Seattle fps locked at 25.On unlimited the fps goes up to 45-50 and the jerkiness might possibly improve very very slightly.
This is not the momentary stuttering/fps drop you can get when panning at complex airports with complex aircraft,it is a constant 'grittiness' for want of a better word.
Thanks for helping.
regards jim

Try adjusting the vsync settings?
Turn off antialiasing ?
Turn off anisotropic ?

Hi Vincent,I tried your suggestions but the only thing that improves the situation a little is fps on Unlimited. That only improves the panning in the default aircraft and as soon as I use a complex aircraft the major jerking returns.
This suggests Trackir is fine and it is a system problem as you had probably already guessed.
Not being too skilled with pc's this will probably only get sorted when I eventually get the long awaited new system.
Thanks for your help though.
regards Jim
