What is the question about red?In the tracking screen I have 3 green dots and a spot or 2 of red once in awhile.TrackIR Clip Pro seems to be workung OK.Is the red not supposed to be there? Thanks,Ron

Correct. The red dots are objects the the camera is seeing as IR points. What can happen is that the software might try using the red ones as a point to use instead of the ones on the clip, and then you get erratic movement.

OK,I am getting a little erratic movement but I thought it was from my low frame rates .There are a couple of very small dots that appear and move with the 3 green ones but not all the time.I am in a very dim environment. What should I be looking for that the camera is picking up on?Thanks,Ron

My frame rates are from 5-15 but I have low end mach.2.4 gb,1.5gb ram.nvidia 6600 256 video. It actually runs pretty smooth with settings in dense to very dense except in big city areas.Am working on getting a new unit.Only thing shiny in background may be large lens reading glasses that I always use to clarify screen.I will remove them tonight and see.Nothing else is close. Thanks,Ron

OK,I think it's the glasses.I painted frame black on left side by upper dot and the red dot seems to have gone away.Ron

Just want to post here saying that I fixed the problem. Here is how I did it. Go to your Armed Assault directory, right click on the .exe, then go to compatibility, check the box next to "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and select Windows XP sp2. Now your trackIR will work without a hitch in Armed Assault.
