Actually some issues

Just got another clip sent in and the results were about the same.
I installed it on the wifes machine and it was even worse!

When I went back to my machine I de-installed all the software and cleared out the track ir directory in program files and went with a completely new install.

The results were above ,It appears to be ok in the reflector mode but flakey in the clip mode. So in a bit of experimenting I found that it tracks ok if a-Iturn out the lights and put the light filtering to max ,Turn on the light ( a 60 wat bulb over head and behind my right shoulder it has the odd wobble. If I reduce to 175 light filtering it gets worse ,at 100 its max headroom time .This is at a distance of 18 to 24" with smoothing at 62% .If I decrease smoothing it is a bit stable.

My question is is there a file to be deleted that is storing a light value that is too low?

This would be ok for nightime but impossible to use during the day

FWIW unit was bought may 06 with a serial number in the 44000's

Thanks for any help

Well, if you have a 60 watt light bulb behind you it will cause it to react erratically, as the light bulb gives off a tremendous amount of heat (IR) light, and the software will try to use that as a tracking point.

For the TrackClip Pro, the ideal light filtering option should be set to 100, and the camera LEDs should be turned off, as well as the option TrackClip Pro selected in the profile.
