Track IR3 not working in FSX

Made all clean installs of FSX and TrackIR4, and IT WORKS NOW!
Will now go step by step (with backups in between) thru SP1, SP2, Acceleration Pack and Saitek drivers/software to track any harmful changing. But hopefully it was something corrupted by pure accident... Thanks a lot, anyway!

My guess is the SimConnect had some corruption...........

I don't know if you have done this but when I changed FSX.exe compatability properties I checked the box "Run this program as an administrator". As soon as I had enabled that my TrackIR 3 refused to work in FSX but worked in IL2 1946, F4AF and others.

So, check that you have not enabled the above option. As soon as I unchecked it it worked again.

You could also run both FSX, and the TrackIR as admin applications and it will work........

This really is against all expectations and is good to know! It looks like the complete reinstall of FSX and TrackIR did it for me. I have now SP2/Acceleration Pack and the Saitek drivers running and tracking still works fine.
