Ok, I'll give it a try.
I know that I can run FSX as admin, I'll try it with Trackir also.

No, didn't work.
Started both .exe files with rmc->run as administrator.
Green LED is on, but no blue LED.

Winsxs folders reinstalled, when FSX reinstalled?

Yes, they reinstalled.
I deleted them and after that installed FSX a few times.

Do you have the simconnect.xml filwe installed on the system?

I searched the whole disk c:, butno simconnect.xml. I downloaded the simconnect.msi and installed it. No xml either-

All I can suggest is doing a clean install of both applications, but installing them in the non-standard install location.

I think, I'll do a clean install of Vista the next few days. Hope that helps
