Do you have the standard language.dll installed?
Any other add-ons installed fs9?
If the blue LED is coming on (TrackIR 4) then it is detecting the game, and something within FS9 is stopping it from working.
Yes. Standard language.dll.
HideInfoText=0 in Fs9.cfg.
Add ons , nothing out of the ordinary. On that subject it would be nice to know if there are add ons that are known to cause problems with trackIR.
My point is that if trackir-2002.dll "only works for FS2002, it does nothing in regards to FS9, or FSX." How comes my trackIR 3 wont track in FS9 without this file being present in the Modules folder?

TIR5 doesn't work in FS9
Re: TIR5 doesn't work in FS9
We do have a list of known add-on applications that have conflicts.

What OS are you running?

I've solved it. It was the language.dll file. Although the date was the same as the original one on the FS9 disk I noticed that the file size was very slightly different. Copied over the original file from the disk and the tracker works perfectly. Now I need to find out what add on altered the language.dll file
Thanks for your help.
