I receieved a replacement base in the post this morning with the magnet round the right way.

That's pretty impressive support by RC Simulations (UK) since I only reported the problem to them late yesterday.

Looks like I will get to try it with Arma2 this weekend after all

Seems like it's not fixed yet ... I just received a unit today with the magnets reversed. I fancied fixing this myself but if it's not recommended, I'll wait for a replacement.
