Sorry, I was looking at our Expression license, not Arena. I guess we'll have to upgrade :(

Does Arena 1.4 have the actor FBX exporting feature?

If not, wow do we create a compatible actor in MB for the BVH file exported by Arena?

Thanks in advance.

FBX support wasn't added until version 1.5 beta 1.

You can stream the data directly into MB, and you should also be able to use the standard bvh file directly

It seems to me the streamed data are marker set and frames data, but the exported BVH file consists of skeleton and frames data. Are they equivalent, and how can we convert each other to another?

I tried to map the marker set data (stream data) to MB actor and character it worked well. But, when I try to map the exported BVH file to character, and the character's hand poses are different from the BVH files'. The character pose is like T-pose while the BVH's pose is like normal standing.

Could you please help me figure out why and fix this problem?

Thank you very much!

Are you starting the data capture with a t-pose?

Thanks Vincent! It works! I didn't realize that the T-pose start is so important.

Thank you very much again. Have a great weekend!
