OK, I finally got to look properly for the simconnect folders, there are 3 present. Now what do I do?

This is how they apear im the directory, inside is a single DLL file.

Is the green LED both on, on the TrackIR device itself?

Yes. There is 1 LED lit, then when I start FSX, the other comes on.

both LEDS are on, and it moves fine within the TrackIR software itself. So TrackIR is detecting Simconnect, and talking to it at that point.

Finally got it (sort of) working! I uninstalled ALL FSX related software, including FSX itself, then put it all back on, running then rebooting between each package installation. Works a treat now. The only problem I have is that in the VC, its as if my nose is up against the windshield. Anyone know how I can zoom out to see the instruments?
The usual ctl/enter just causes the picture to "jig" each time I try it. Whilst its nice to look out the window, instruments are quite handy!
