I have same problem then Congo, have reformat my PC, and this problem occur. I have tried every thing you are mentionning here and nothing work. So is there anyone who will be able to help us splved the problem with the stuttering. I have ever had this prior to now.

You see this issue with both the IR 4, and IR5 software?

Well I would not be able to answer your question, cause I own ONLY TrackIR5. But has for me, I have reformat PC, and I have reinstalled TrackIR5, then I did not install update driver for my ATI video card, but instead I was running with the windows video driver, and my PC on 800 x 600, check TrackIR5, and it was working perfectly. Then I reinstalled the 10.10 driver for my ATI card, and stuttering and freezing started back.
