Would it be possible to include a screenshot of the error, as well as a screenshot of your device manager? I would like to get some more information to help us in tracking down this issue. So far we have not been able to recreate it at our offices.

Hello Mike,

I've had the same problem with the "you can't run both track IR and SmartNAV at the same time" error message on start-up and reboots. I followed the instructions you gave ajporr with the same result, that is it went away for a while and eventually came back. Now I get the error message every time I boot the computer.

I'm using a SmartNAV 4: AT (S/N 76290), version 3.20.037.2, with the dwellclicker option.

Could you post the answer in the forum for others to see?

Two quick questions:

1: Does the device appear properly in the device manager?
2: Have you tried on another computer? What happens?

Hello again Mike,

1: it appears properly in device manager to me, I can expand "NaturalPoint devices" and access properties etc for "NaturalPoint SmartNAV 4".

2: yes, I've tried it on another computer and everything works fine.

It was working properly with no errors until 6 months ago.
