hi,just bought my trackIr 3 pro from www.rcsimulations only to find that i'm having the excact same probs with windows unable to find the drivers to install the hardware??

Iv'e read all this long sticky thread.

can sombody help?

ok look's like to NP regfix done the job..cool:)

Now I would just like to take a minute to say what ambassadors www.rcsimulations.com are for NP.

I personally went to there wherehouse to buy TIR3-PRO and VEP,and instead of me thinking they were just gonna take my hard earned cash and boot me out the door..I was plesantly supprised when "Bob" gave me a good half an hour's run thru with the hard ware..what can I say..very impressed!!

Same problems here.. got tir3pro yesterday, installed it right after formated HDD and installed clean XP SP2, made updates, installed all drivers for the mobo, tried the NPRegFix.exe and PM-ed Wayne (not sure if you read those PM's).
My SN is AV10013 , here is a link to the setupapi.log:

Hello I have acquired myself the track ir 3 pro, and which is my surprise that when I will install the program it gives me an installation error.Very since later I connect the usb and it doesn't detect me the track to go, I look in control panel, system, administrator of devices and it leaves me an interrogation, that is to say there am not me loader the trackIR driver, where I can get it or like I can solve the problem.

Any kind of answer would be much apreciated...

I have the "Unknown USB Device" problem with my toshiba Tecra S1 notebook and Track IR 3 Pro. No problems with my desktop pc.

But i am unable to download
NPRegFix.zip !!

So i can't test this possible solution.

Where can get this tool?

Hello, I also have the same problem; tried with drivers v. 4.1.0.28 and 4.0.024 (from the CD that came with my Track IR 3 Pro) but nothing worked. Windows still didn't find the driver for the unit (and claimed that there are no compatible drivers, when I manually pointed it at the TrackIr4\Drivers folder). I'm running Windows XP Professional wit SP2.
