Hi Ronin, the camera could be gone. Have you tried all of the steps within this forum thread to troubleshoot your issue? If so, I would contact us at help.naturalpoint.com

It's now happened to me. My TrackIR5 is 4 years old. It's fantastic when it works though.
This is what happens when they die, - red lines, - red outline of your head, - occasional semblance of working correctly, - then mad spinning, erratic view changes, imager won't pick up the three greens properly.
I hope Naturalpoint will look into how to extend the life of whatever component is failing and modify the product. I would expect an electronic gadget these days to last more than three or four years, especially one that doesn't appear to have any moving parts.

My new TrackIR5 arrived today. Plugged it in and it works like a dream, - not even any adjustment required, - silky smooth, - no jerkiness, no red blobs or erratic movement. Does exactly what you want it to do.
My last one definitely died, - presumably the imager. Hopefully this one will last a bit longer than the last one. It's good for NaturalPoint if they can sell new units to existing users every three or four years, not so good for us consumers though
