I got your email, replied to it. Haven't seen you on remote yet and we're about done for the week. Our normal hours for remote support are 9am-5pm Pacific time, Monday through Friday.

After a remote session we've verified this to be a bug, and we will be investigating it for a future release.

This is still present in the current driver and software package that came out a week ago or so.

Has this been dropped or what?

Unfortunately this did not make it into the latest release but our developers are aware of the issue.

Please keep working on it. Ever since that day I found out what causes it I am switching between 1000 and 125 depending on what I play, hehe.

Unfortunately I don't have an exact timeline on when the development is going to happen. Right now all of our developers are putting their noses to the grind stone on our largest project ever for our OptiTrack line of cameras. But TrackIR is very important to us so after our current project gets released we will be able to focus our attention again on it.

Yeah sorry to sound bitter here but I guessed so. All the TrackIR projects have not been revolutionary, fncionality has been taken away, cameras are not giving that much of an advantage over hte old ones, forcing people to use new stuff etc.

All of this is business bullshit.

Reading that there is no dedicated TrackIR team explains a lot...

Sorry man, I dont wanna talk down to you as a community ear and middle person, but business these days, no matter WHERE it happens, FUCKS me up man. FUCKS ME UP.

I am so furious about all the world and no matter where I see these things I rage man... :-/ Man fuck this.

Hey Megagoth,

Don't worry, man, we're not bailing on you. :) The reality is that we're not a huge team. We all wear lots of hats here, including our developers. They're all working super hard right now on a major project, which means that new tasks take a bit longer to get to, on occasion. It's a reality of product development in a smaller tech company. It's a two way street, meaning that phases of major TrackIR development have the same impact on our other products. Every product gets its time in the sun.

Regarding all of the rest of your frustration about TrackIR--I'm sorry if TrackIR development isn't as revolutionary from one version to the next as you'd like. We're certainly open to revolutionary new ideas. And we definitely don't force anyone to upgrade to new technology. About 98% of TrackIR hardware in active use has access to all of the same games and the same software interface, which includes all of those purchased over the past 7 or so years. That we cannot have 100% backwards compatibility, over the course of a decade or more of product versions, in the world of technology--well that should be absolutely expected.
