I havn't understood yet (honest!), what sense the mouse override makes to me at all, f. ex. with a flight simulator. Can anybody explain in simple words please...

lo again!
Carlo...The new delay times work here. I'm using XP and exported this .reg file for you. Download it, run it, open Tir software. Slide slider to right and you should have 5 seconds. It will still say 1 sec on slider tho.

ok Carlo...Plan B!
On the desktop click START then RUN
Type regedit in the run box...Registry editor opens.
Next, open these...
HKEY_CURRENT_USER
Software
Naturalpoint
Naturalpoint (again)
V2.11 GX
Look in the right window and there is a key called MDelayRange.
Double click on MDelayRange so a window pops up.
You should see 'Value data:' label with Hex number 3c in it (60 in decimal) and the default value of 1 second.
Change the 3c to 12c (300 decimal) to get 5 second delay.
Click ok, run the software again. Move the slider up and down a couple of times and close the TiR software. Restart the software again and make sure the slider is all the way to the right. Move the desktop mouse and TiR will not move cursor for 5 seconds.Did that work?
I just did all that again to check and it works here no problems. Good luck and let me know what happens.

Carlo:
Clearly we have gone to great lenghts to support your user request and our customers have helped you out on this forum many times over. The feature is in the software, just for you, that is our level of support! Making the slider go all the way to 5 seconds or more would be bad for the general user as the range would be skewed. This issue is put to rest as of now.
