Can't get TrackIR Pro 3 to work with FSX

Try disabling, and stopping these applications before running the TrackIR software and FSX.

FSX communicates differently with the TrackIR software, and with itself, than FS9 or GTR2.

I am starting to think that it has some thing to do with Simconnect. I downloaded FSUPIC from Peter Dawson and found that it did not appear in the menu as it was suppose to. In fact I have been having a wealth of wierd problems with FSX. Read somewhere that if I had tried the Beta (which I had) wierd things may happen. Don't know if having FSX on my E drive is the causing the problem, Beta was on D drive before I removed it.

Anyone know how to determine if the Simconnect is doing what it should be doing?

just having the same troubles, but got the ADONS now working with a system backup from februrary..., trackir not tested at the moment, because I have first veryfy all other things are still working. Will post if trackir is fixed on the backup system or still with problems.

Never had the beta of FSX

Tried with AVG antivirus off - no joy
Tried with AVG and Windows firewall off - no joy
Tried with AVG, firewall and popup blocker off - no joy
Tried with AVG, firewall, popup blocker and anti-phishing filter off - no joy...........

Are any of you using an anti virus program?

Pop-up blocker software?

Firewall software?

What type of internet connection are you using?

norton internet security 2007 (firewall, pop up blocker, spam filter, anti virus...)

but as you can see in the fsuipc Peter Dawson thread I got the ADDONS menue now working, will test trackir4 today, maybee it works now too??!!

LAN via router, A_DSL and satellite (skyDSL) vis PCI card. A bit compley setup which gives sometimes troubles with wib update, but ONLY win update. Have a look to Peter Dawson link above...

Add my name to the list of people where TrackIR3 works fine with LOMAC, IL2, etc. - but not FSX for some reason. Downloaded latest driver, but doesn't seem to work (for me)
