That bug is also known as "broken neck bug" - because your virtual head falls down and hangs unless you recenter TIR. This bug exists from v4.1.029. Previous version was fine, but hasn't supported fsx.
I think the problem is more complicated - as I described before - that has nothing to do with position of reflecting dots and backlight or something. Recently I read on Sim Outhouse forum that switching trackClip option on in profile solves the problem, but it hasn't worked for me. Probably because I have Tir3 instead of 4.
I keep my fingers crossed for some "clever heads" from NP working on it, because the bug is like pain in a**. But I'm starting to loose my hope, "working on it" lasts bit too long, I suppose.
