I'm doing full animatics right now for a piece in lightwave... It would be incredibly useful to have the mocap data stream into LW for what I am doing... I was using motion builder and converting all the data to work in LW... which was a total nightmare since I needed literally hundreds of motions and it needed to be done fast... I finally built a IK rig that follows the BVH skeleton around in lightwave which sped up the process quite a bit, still not that good though. I need to see the characters in the actual 3d scene in LW so I can direct my actors according to the environment they are in...

I will vote for Lightwave, sometime you can't make movements but great tools..

As someone else mentioned, Optitrack being a quality mocap solution for a relatively small investment - fits perfectly with Blender. New upgrades of Blender are released every 3 or 4 months and are free - just like the program itself. The features just keep getting better and better. So, my vote is for Blender!
