the game will indeed have support for TrackIR�s latest software soon - in the form of a patch

Well it's doubly good news, I hope the patch contains a couple of other fixes as well. I'm just hoping that soon isn't weeks or months, though.

Warren, we can expect this patch from the Starshatter website, or released through a patch of the TrackIr software?

ie, who's taking care of this, you guys, or the developper?

It should be a patch from the developer, as it is some added info that is added to the game itself.

We will post the info, when the developer does release the patch.....

is there any more info yet? I'm not willing to pick this up till it's TIR supported. I'm upset the box itself SAYS TIR support but it's not in the game...very dissappointing, cause the game itself is quite enjoyable.

nothing yet? I'm really upset I can't use TrackIR yet with it...

A new patch for Starshatter: The Gathering Storm is now available, updating the space combat game to version 5.02. Among other things, the update adds support for the TrackIR controller. The download is available on FileFront, Gamer's Hell, and Strategy Informer.

I've installed the patch and updated the games list for my TIR4pro but don't see Starshatter listed under the profiles and sure enough I don't seem to get the TIR unit tracking my head motion when in the virtual cockpit view. Any suggestions or is it simply a matter of waiting for Natural Point to include Starshatter in a game update?
