It is on the developers "bug" list, but there is no timeline for a resolution.

So, is it a matter of money? I'd gladly pay something for a patch to get this resolved, and I'm sure there are plenty of other CFS3 players who would chip in to get this finally resolved.

Burgermister,
Check over here

There's one tidbit of actual information in Vincent's posting about half way down the thread.

We are trying to look at this ourselves - Naturalpoint supplied the SDK details and we hope to be able to devote some time to this and just fix it if possible, so far we have not had time. I doubt it will be looked into seriously until Phase 3 comes out. I want it too, a brand new PC here with Vista is not great but the old fix of installing XP just for CFS is a pain for sure
There are a lot of potential people who want this for OFF let alone for CFS3 and other mods.

OK guys we found time to look at it, and we got TIR working in Vista 32 and 64. Naturalpoint will release this for us in their next release soooon if all goes to plan.

Any insight into the bizarro loss of function in XP? I've still had no luck.

There is no common issue with that, most people have no problem, apart from Vista & CFS3 & TIR.
XP.. make sure you don't use logitech mouse software and TIR together - that usually stops it working.
Otherwise reinstall I'd say no idea. Probably the wrong thread for this.

It's been a few weeks now. Any projections on the release of Polovski's fix?
