ATI Catalist 10.4 drivers not allowing trackir to run

Same problem here using the latest Cat 10.10 and TrackIR 5.0. Thanks to this website, I tried setting Win 95/98 Compatibility for the TrackIR and it seems to work, although for the life of me I can's see why. I'm using WinXP Pro, SP3. Also having problems (for the first time) with my CH Rudder Pedals. Now I think it may be tied to the Cat drivers as well. Very strange...

Well, I spoke too soon. Now all I get when I try to start TrackIR 5.0 is the hourglass and then nothing... Back to the drawing board...

So I 1st posted about this issue back in June, and I see by reading the posts this issue with drivers for ATI is still persistent. I am still using 10.3 drivers here PEOPLE (NATURAL POINT). I did see the posts about rolling back to xp 2000 but I am afraid it might work for a while then something else I value may stop working, I.E my ruddr pedals or my WAAS 530, or my computer my become self aware and start ejecting CD's into my growing area at a high rate of speed. just venting I guess.

It is something we are currently working on. You can also look at rolling back to the 4.1.037 TrackIR software.

I have TrackIR5.1 (NT4.0 Compatibility mode) working with ATI drivers 11.2 in XP 32-bit - Hooray!
