Why head move to the left when turning

Hi,

I have problem adjusting my track IR.

When I turn my head to the left, the view move correctly at angle to the left but at the same time forward then translating to the left. When I turn my head right, the point ov view go backward at the same time then start to translate to the left.

When I look in the adjustment screen, the view from the top shows the head doing a clear inverted C shape.

I have looked at the different adjustment including X,Y,Z,Yaw etc... but cannot found what create this movement of the head.

My Track IR unit is on the top of a screen about 4 feet from the track clip pro.

Any idea wow to correct this so turning my head left and right just do that and dont move the head back and forth.

Where is the TrackClip Pro mounted?

4 feet seems a bit far, too. Does it function properly at 2ft?

The trackClip is mounted on the right side of my headseat.

The head position seems to make sense in the adjustment screen.

I tried to reduce the "gain" on the X and Z parameters and it seems much better now. Maybe I was seeting those two to sensitive. But I had to put those two at almost zero to have something that doesnt cause too much translation forward and to the left when I just make a Yaw movement. Is this normal?

The exact distance is more 2.5 feet after verification..

The TrackClip Pro should be mounted over your left ear, not the right. The software knows that the clip is a certain geometry and if that is inverted it can cause off-results.
