Cannot install TIR4 or TIR5 Software

Hi,
i have a big problem. I cannot install TIR4 or TIR5 software. I became a failure message: "Fault at the Extrahierung of the support files. Start the server failed." Is this a server problem of naturalpoint, or what? Who can i help me?

Hello -
This is an issue that is caused occasionally by a conflict between our installer and windows on some machines. Please email
support@naturalpoint.com for a work-around. This issue will be fixed in upcoming versions of TrackIR software.

Hi,
I have Trackir v4.1.028 and with FS9 worked fine. Now I tried on FSX without success. After reading forums I downloaded v4.1.038 but during installation something went wrong (my error for sure...). Got several criptic warning messages. Sometime I got a warning concerning file NPUSBIO.sys missing.
In short, now I can't even install my original software from disc.
Please help me.

Try updating to 5.1.3 or 4.1.038. They can both be found here:

If you're having issues with uninstalling 4.1.028, You should definitely try installing 5.1.3, as it can run side by side with 4.x and does not require uninstalling it.

I managed to install v 5.1.3. But Trackir is working now and then...sometime crashes on start, sometime on exit...
A big improvement anyway
