IL-2 Multiple installs

Hi,

I have a problem, the game is not recognized at launch. I suspect the problem is that I have two installs of IL-2, one for 4.10.1 with mods and another with 4.11. The 4.11 works fine, but not the 4.10.1. I think TrackIR has some configuration file to save the game's path and therefore it can only recognize one.

It shouldn't be. There's no pathing information stored in TrackIR. You might be looking at a permissions issue if you manually moved files to a different location (especially if it was within program files). Try running both TrackIR and IL2 by right clicking on the shortcuts and selecting "run as administrator"

Well, that left me scratching my head, because I just renamed the folder where the not working version was as the other one and the game was recognized.

I was hoping it was a simple profile's configuration file that I could edit.

I am using TrackIR 4 with TrackIR 5 software. Win 7 @ 64 bits on a no administrator account.
