Cannot install TrackIR 5.1.3 software.

Because it keeps saying a previous version in still installed even if I uninstall it. Is ther some registry key I can delete?

There is, however there is a large amount of inherent risk in breaking something else when modifying your registry.

What version of Windows are you running?

You may want to enable your administrator account (this is disabled by default), then log into that and attempt to uninstall. There's a good walkthrough on how to do this here.

While it IS possible to attempt to remove the registry entries (and there are several walkthroughs for this online, like the one here), I must stress that any manual editing of the registry is potentially dangerous and should only be done if you are absolutely certain you know what you are doing.

I cannot find TrackIR5 in my registry, only TrackIR4 so I guess I will just have to use that.

I was wanting to use the TrackIR 5 software because I use a TrackIR 5 pro and I was hoping I would not have to re-center the thing so much like I do now. I am trying to use it for Aces High 2 but the thing is constantly losing it's center and makes it very difficult to look behind me, something essential in an air combat game. Basically just using joystick hat views is more effective than using this thing I just spent $150 on. Ouch.
