Just purchased Track IR5. Downloaded the latest software and installed it. Tracking movement no problem (left green light on IR camera).

Started SFX (virtual cockpit view), Right green light appeared on IR camera. No movement in the game).

Both software started as administrator.

Track IR software shows profile: default and recognized FSX.

Currently running Windows 7.

What do I need to do for Track IR to work in SFX?

Does this issue occur in just one plane or in all planes?

What version of TrackIR software are you using?

Do you have antivirus or firewall software installed?

Mike I have Antivirus installed, does that mean anything.

It can. TrackIR and FSX talk to eachother over a local network connection, which can be blocked by antivirus or firewalls. You can try disconnecting your computer from the internet, disabling the firewalls and antivirus software, and running TrackIR and fsx as a test. If it works with av/firewall disabled that's the issue. When disabling them, disconnecting from the internet is recommended to prevent intrusion during the downtime. Don't forget the built in windows firewall, as well.
