minimum studio size

Hi All,

I have a space I can use as a studio that measures only 4m x 6m. I'm planning to purchase an 18 V100:R2 camera setup.

My question is: is the 4m x 6m area large enough for an 18 camera setup?

If not, what is the minimum space I would require?

Many thanks,

Hi Dave

The recommended setup is 20x20 ft, which is 6x6 meters.., which gives you roughly 3x3 meters of effective capture volume.

So you are ok in one dimension. The rule of thumb is you lose roughly half of your capture space, so in this case, with 18 cameras, you might get a little more than 3x2 meter capture volume..

You can definitely set up in 4x6, but the Bryan is correct in his estimate of a volume size. You may get more than 3x2, depending on final positioning and aim, but not by much. An 18 camera volume would ideally have a 20-22 foot square to set up in.
