Hello,
I saw that it was possible to use the cameras to capture video black and white.
You can export avi video, but I was wondering what the .grs and with what program to open it.
I would be interested to know if a performance like this would be possible with a OptiTrack 24 cameras ...

.GRS is ARENA's proprietary grayscale video output format. While it can be converted to an AVI, the conversion process can be lengthy and the quality of the video subject to the codec(s) installed on your machine. Using ARENA for this type of application isn't ideal.

A far better option, as long as you have access to a C/C++ programmer, would be to use the Camera SDK to access each camera directly:

The SDK includes sample apps for frame sync, image processing, and other processes that should help get you started. From there, you can hook into an OpenCV function or one from another computer vision library, or build your own image analysis functions.
