Camera freezing, Tracking Tools 2.5 closing

Hello,

After downloading TT 2.5 I started having some problems.

First, one of my cameras is freezing. When I open the program the camera will run for a few seconds then freeze with the image it has at that moment on the screen. If I unplug the camera and plug it back in it seems to fix the problem but the process could move the camera around which means I would have to calibrate the cameras all over again every time I opened TT. Has anyone ran into a similar problem? It's always the same camera and it happens every time I open TT.

Second, when I'm trying to calibrate, the program runs into an error and Windows has to unexpectedly close the program. I've successfully bypassed this inconvenience (once...) by moving the wand around VERY slowly. If I even start to move it fast it shuts down. Is there any way to fix these problems? Or downgrade back to the previous software? I prefer the first option because 2.5 is definitely easier on the eyes.

Thanks for any help.

Hello -

I have not heard of the freezing issue, it would be interesting to look at the camera considering it happens to the same one every time. What model is it?

The calibration error may be related to the camera dropout issue if that occurs during calibration. issues are likely related.

The camera is a V100:R2. They're brand new cameras so hopefully it's not a hardware issue. It started happening after upgrading the software. But the problem persisted after downgrading to 2.4 so I'm not really sure where to go from here.

If you switch to a different OptiHub port and cable, does the issue follow the camera?
