Hi, i am trying to stream from Arena to MotionBuilder2012 from one building to another. They are on different subnets but can ping etc. no problem.
With multicasting I can get the data definitions OK but not the actual stream.
When I try the unicasting option in the NatNet SDK .NET example it can receive the stream and definitions fine.
Is there a trick to getting multicasting working across subnets?

Often times Multicasting can get filtered out by switching or routing equipment within a network, depending on your network admin's policy. Additionally, it's worth noting that the definitions and live data are each sent on different ports (1510 and 1511, respectively).

I would highly recommend speaking with your network admin to ensure that multicasting is allowed and properly routed within your network.
