I am unable to get fs9 to recognize TrackIR Camera.
Here are the details:

Device: TrackIR 5 #179931
Driver: 2.50.0.0 / 11/16/2009
TrackIR Version: 5.1.300 (Build 9945)

Downloaded TrackIR 5.1, Right clicked on the installer, and selected "Run as administrator"

Software Status Lights:
Camera Detected and Connected: Green
Camera Tracking Status: Amber
TrackIR Enhanced (Game Enabled): Blue

Only left green light is on on camera at this point.

Camera appears to be fully functional in TrackIR Software

Launching FS9/Fly Now
Both Left/Right Camera Green Lights on
Camera does not show up under Options/Control/Assignments/JoyStick Type

This is being used in conjunction with CH Eclipse Yoke.
I have tried unplugging the yoke, but the TrackIR Camera still does not appear in fs9.

my fs9.cfg file does not contain the HideInfoText variable.
I do however get a momentary red notifications in the upper right corner when switching view modes.

This is the same version/files size as on the FS9 media but recopied into system but made no difference.

Tired copying trackir-2002.dll into:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Modules
but that did not work.

For testing, I have deactivated all firewall and anti-virus processes.

FS9 still does not recognize TrackIR 5.

TrackIR is working under Virtual Cockpit.

On my system, it will not work under Cockpit, Tower or Spot Views.
It does not work when toggling the Panel On/Of with the "W" key.

Is it suppose to work anywhere else than Virtual Cockpit???

Flight Sim 9 does require the use of Virtual Cockpit. It will not work in other modes. Additional notes on FS9 compatibility with regard to messagekill and the 2002 dll files can be found here:

Trackir 5.2 does not "recognise" fs9...
I have w7 ultimate 64 bit..

What can I do?

Tried also to install trackir 4...but same issue...

Do you have a TrackIR 4 or 5?

In the TrackIR software do you have all three status lights at the bottom right corner?
