I am doctor specialized in orthopedics. Me and my senior professor have a plan buying optitrak V120:duo, But we are clinician at medical field not familiar with instrument like this. So, here are some basic questions.

1. What is different point between Duo and Trio? What is pros of Trio compared to Duo?

2. We have to get results about relative displacement between markers and It have to be presented like sort of graph. Is it possible to make or present results of displacement into graph in tracking software?

3. Is it possible estimate angle of line made by two marker from plane which other markers made?

The difference between the Duo and Trio is the inclusion of a third camera equipped with a filter switcher. The third camera can be used either in marker tracking mode to help overcome occlusion and contribute to the position of the marker in the point cloud, or it can be used as a scene video camera for recording the scene in either IR or visible light while the other two cameras capture marker movement.

Tracking Tools does not have a native analysis engine or presentation mode, however it does have an API that will allow you to integrate the functions of Tracking Tools into an engine such as Labview or Matlab.

While it's not possible to do any analysis of angles in Tracking Tools, if used through the API, or if recorded and exported, you can certainly take the data to an analysis engine and get that information.
