I have used my trackir 5 for a while and recently purchased a 40'' monitor well now I can't seem to get it to work. Placed it on top to high placed it on bottom to low tried sides can't see to other side. Is there anything I can do I am lost and don't want to stop using it. Any help would be appreciated

I read somewhere this problem cropped up and the solution was to
put the unit behind you and reverse the axis.

Correct! When it's behind you, you have to reverse X, Z, Pitch, and Roll. Y and Yaw remain the same.

hmm... but that will require an extremely long USB cable extension to accomplish the same thing, also hard to find a mount point else where in the room close enough to mount the TrackIR
