TrackingTools API in Visual studio 2012 x64

Hello!
I am trying to use the TrackingTools API in Visual Studio 2012.
I use windows 7 x64 and TrackingTools x64.
My program builds correctly but when launched, I get the following error message.
The application was unable to start correctly. (0xc000007b)
I have put the NPTrackingTools.dll and NPTrackingToolsx64.dll files in my build folder. If I remove NPTrackingTools.dll, the following error message is given upon launch:
The program can't start because NPTrackingTools.dll is missing from your computer.
I find this a bit odd, since I am building fora 64bit platform.
Any ideas?
