Profiles Missing After Update

I updated from 5.1 to 5.2 and my profiles are now missing. Where can I find my previous profiles?

Please don't tell me that just upgrading from 5.1 to 5.2 would delete user profiles (especially without a warning). No programmer over the age of eight would be that stupid.

When uninstalling or upgrading custom profiles are left where they are in C:\Program Files (x86)\NaturalPoint\TrackIR5\Profiles

Not in my case.

I didn't do an uninstall of 5.1 before running the 5.2 install. I'm running Windows 8 and the install hung up. I manually stopped the install processes and tried again. When it didn't work that time I ran the installer for a third try specifying "As Admin" and it worked.

But my custom profiles were gone when I ran the program. I've now searched for them and they don't seem to be anywhere on the drive...

Sometimes it is located in C:\Users\\AppData\VirtualStore

The AppData folder is usually hidden so you may have to change your folder options to see it.
