Mounting question

Just bought a TrackIR 5 and didn't think too much about mounting it until I recieved it and then it dawned on me that the OEM one will not work with my monitors. I'm using 3 Viewsonic VX2439WM in a surround setup. The bezel on these has less then a millimeter edge to the backside before the rear housing starts to slope away so there's really nothing for the rear "leg" to hold on to. It looks just like this:

So before I trying to jury-rig something I was wondering if the stick-on mount you sell for the TrackIR 3 unit would work for me? Otherwise would it be safe to use any small magnet stuck up there providing I can get the angle right?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Since the base of the TrackIR 5 uses magnets already you should be fine if you put a magnet up there, just make sure to get the polarity right before you glue anything down.
