I have just installed a fresh W7 64 on a new SSD. I am trying to install TrackIR version TrackIR_5.2.Final.exe.
I get an "Error 1325" with the report "ALLUSERS_DIR is not a valid short file name".
There is no such named directory on my machine
Needless to say the program is not installing.
I have tried installing in the default location and C:\TrackIR having deleted the previous attempts.
Looking forward to a resolution, I've been using TIR for over 8 years faultlessly.

The ALLUSERS_DIR folder issue should be taken care of in version 5.2.1 or later. Can you try downloading TrackIR_5.2.2.Final.exe from our website at: http://www.naturalpoint.com/trackir/06- ... nuals.html

Jeff - tried that and still the same error. I also tried running it as Admin and with various compatabilities.
I can use version 4 drivers fine so no big deal.
I wonder if it is because my TIR is going through a powered Hub as opposed to straight in to the PC. Unfortunately I have no spare USBs. The PC is too far away from the TIR for the wire to reach.

Getting same error message on each attempt.
