Need a little help

I am having to turn or lift my head farther than I want to for the desired virtual head movement. How do I adjust this? I turned down the speed all the way, but that didn't seem to make any difference.

I'm using a 21" monitor, so the unit sits a little higher than level with my head. I have a large dime sized (at least) pattern of dots. I get much more movement if I tilt my head, but that's not intuitive or realistic. I want my virtual head turn when I turn my real head, not have my virtual head turn when I tilt my real head.

Seems to be working very well except for the problem above.

Some helpful folks on the official IL-2 forum pointed out correctly that I was simply too far from the sensor. I picked up a lightweight 1/4"X 4" board and velcroed the sensor unit upside down to the board (to get it lower and closer to the level of the dot), then I velcroed the board onto the top of the monitor. Works great with only 1 dot. 16" from dot to sensor is giving me tons of movement. I may experiment and push it back a little more.

That is a good tool to use. The closer the better for movement.

But if your moving your head to much, then you need to increase the speed, not drop it. The higher the speed, the less you move your head. In IL-2 mouse view I used to have it cranked WAY up so the tiniest head movement would spin me all the way around.

I am real good at holding still.
