I want the tir software to start with windows, but I don't want the tir to stay idle because it still gets hot in that mode. Is there a stand-by mode where it doesn't get hot??.. or turning the software completely off the only solution?

Hi adi518,

When the TrackIR software is not running then the TrackIR camera will operate in a lower power mode. Additionally, when a PC enters standby/suspend mode the TrackIR will go into a deeper low power mode as per USB spec.
